Emirates Hills is not a developer community. Every villa was designed separately, which means no two properties have the same layout, the same stone, or the same mechanical setup. Marble runs through most of them, often book matched and often imported, and a lot of it has been damaged by well meaning cleaning.

The stock here is mostly custom built mansions, most of them six to twelve bedrooms, on plots that run to half an acre, and that changes what the job actually is.

Much of the stone in these villas is imported and book matched, which means a damaged slab cannot simply be replaced. Restoration is the only route, and it has to be done by someone who knows the stone before touching it.

Gated with security registration. We send the crew list and vehicle details ahead of the visit so nobody is held at the gate.

What is included

• Assessment of the stone type and its current condition
• Diamond grinding to remove scratches, etching and lippage
• Honing through progressive grits to an even surface
• Polishing to the sheen level you choose, matte through to mirror
• Crystallisation to harden the surface, where the stone suits it
• Impregnating sealer matched to the stone, not a general purpose product
• Grout cleaned, and replaced where it is beyond saving
• Edges, thresholds, skirting and stair nosings
• Aftercare guidance, including which products will undo the work
• Maintenance schedule so it never needs full restoration again
