Bathroom Plumbing in Dubai
Everything that matters in a bathroom is behind a tile someone would rather not lift.
Bathroom plumbing near you in Dubai. Concealed cistern and flush valve faults, mixer and thermostatic shower valve replacement, waste and trap problems, and full bathroom re-plumbs with the tiling made good.
About this service
What bathroom plumbing involves
The reason bathroom leaks get expensive is that the water reaches the ceiling below long before it reaches the floor above.
A Dubai bathroom hides almost all of its plumbing. Concealed cisterns sit inside stud walls behind large format tiles, shower valves are buried, and the waste runs cross a void that is only reachable from the room below.
That changes the economics of every repair. The part might cost very little; the access is the job. Which is why the first question is always whether the access panel exists, and if not, where the neatest place to create one is.
Concealed cistern flush valves are the most frequent single failure. They weep continuously and quietly into the pan, which shows up as a rising water bill and a faint trickle, and left alone they can run through a startling volume of water over a month.
Thermostatic shower valves are second. Dubai water is hard, the cartridges scale, and the symptom is a shower that runs hot then cold, or one that will not reach temperature. Descaling occasionally works; usually the cartridge is replaced, and matching it to the valve body is the skilled part because brands change specifications between production runs.
Where a bathroom is being re-plumbed rather than repaired, tiling, waterproofing and making good all sit within our own trades, so the room is finished rather than handed to somebody else at the point where it matters most.

Where a bad decision stays hidden longest
Plumbing, electrical and mechanical work is where an owner is least equipped to judge what they are being told, and where the wrong call stays buried in a wall for years. We show you the fault, explain the options, and quote before we touch it.
- You see the fault before you approve the fix
- Written quote, no parts added afterwards
- One team, so no trade blames another

Diagnosed before anything is replaced
Replacing a part that was not the fault is the most expensive outcome in this trade, and the most common one.
- Cause established before parts are ordered
- Photographs of the fault, shared with you
- Second opinion welcomed, not resisted

One contract instead of six
Most villas are running separate contractors for AC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance, all blaming each other. One team removes that entirely.
- Single point of contact for the property
- One schedule, one invoice, one accountability
- Records kept so history is not lost
What is included
- Concealed cistern and flush valve repair and replacement
- Wall hung and back to wall pan removal and refitting
- Thermostatic and manual shower valve and cartridge replacement
- Basin, bath and bidet mixer replacement
- Trap, waste and pop up waste faults
- Shower tray and wet room gully leaks
- Slow draining and smelling bathroom wastes
- Angle valve, flexible hose and isolation valve renewal
- Access panels created neatly where none exist
- Full bathroom re-plumb during a renovation
- Waterproofing at the tray, gully and wall junction
- Tiling, grouting and making good afterwards, in house
Before anything is quoted
We look at the property before we put a number on it
A price list cannot see your marble, your ducts, or the wall the afternoon sun hits. So we come and look. A senior member of the team surveys the property, and you receive a written quotation the same day, itemised, with what is included and what is not.
No obligation. If we are not the right company for the job we will say so, and tell you who is.
- 01The survey
We look at the property, not a price list. Usually the same day you ask.
- 02The written quote
Fixed, itemised, and sent the same day. What is included, and what is not.
- 03The work
A named supervisor and a crew you will see again. Our own equipment and materials.
- 04The walkthrough
We walk the property with you before the team leaves. Anything not right is dealt with then.
Frequently asked questions
Who does bathroom plumbing near me in Dubai?
MELLS covers ninety communities across Dubai. Bathroom work is done by licensed plumbers with our own tilers and painters closing it out.
My toilet is constantly trickling. Is that expensive?
The part rarely is. A concealed flush valve is a small component, and the cost sits in the access. It is worth doing quickly because a continuous trickle wastes a considerable volume over a month.
Do you have to break tiles to reach a concealed cistern?
Not if there is an access panel, and most Dubai installations have one behind the flush plate. Where there is genuinely no access we agree the neatest position with you before cutting anything.
Why does my shower go hot and cold?
Usually a scaled thermostatic cartridge, which is common with Dubai water hardness. Occasionally it is a pressure imbalance between hot and cold supply, which is a different fix.
Can you re-plumb a bathroom without a full renovation?
Often, yes, if the layout stays the same. Where fittings move, waterproofing and tiling have to come up, and at that point a renovation is usually the more sensible framing.
Will you retile afterwards?
Yes. Tiling, grouting and painting are our own trades, which is the whole reason a bathroom job with us finishes in one go.
How do I get a quote from MELLS?
Message us on WhatsApp on +971 58 656 3001 or call the same number. A senior member of the team surveys the property and you receive a written itemised quotation the same day.
Which areas of the UAE does MELLS cover?
Ninety communities across Dubai for residential work, and Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah for commercial premises.
Do you bring your own equipment and materials?
Yes. Our teams arrive fully equipped with professional grade machinery, products and materials. Nothing of yours is used.
Book bathroom plumbing in Dubai
Tell us whether there is an access panel behind the flush plate. It is usually the difference between an hour and a day.
The difference
Why a cheap bathroom plumbing job is expensive
The gap is not the price. It is what is actually reached, and whether anyone can show you it was.
The low cost visit
- A tile smashed for access and a plastic panel screwed over it
- A generic cartridge fitted to a valve body it does not suit
- Silicone applied over a leak instead of the joint being remade
- Waterproofing skipped because the tiles are going back on top
- The trickling cistern topped up on the list for next time
- Tiling handed to another contractor who never quite matches
The MELLS method
- Access created deliberately and neatly, or an existing panel used
- Cartridges matched to the actual valve body, not to the brand
- Joints remade rather than sealed over
- Waterproofing reinstated before anything is tiled back
- Water loss measured at the meter so the fix is proved
- Tiling, grouting and painting closed out by the same company

How the process works
Identify the fault
Whether it is supply side, waste side or valve side determines the access needed, and access is most of the cost in a bathroom.
Find the access
Existing panels first. Where none exists we agree with you where a new one goes before anything is cut.
Isolate and prove
The section is isolated and the loss confirmed at the meter, so we are fixing what is actually leaking.
Repair or replace
Parts matched to the existing valve body and pipework. Joints remade properly rather than sealed.
Waterproof and test
Waterproofing reinstated at trays, gullies and wall junctions, then a flood test before anything is closed.
Tile and make good
Tiling, grouting and painting by our own trades, so the room is left finished.
