MELLS provides Dubai Municipality approved pest control across Dubai, applied by licensed technicians in unmarked vehicles, with a follow up visit included.

Discreet pest control treatment carried out by MELLS at a Dubai property

Treated discreetly, and properly

Harbourages found before anything is applied, approved products only, and an unmarked vehicle if you would prefer that. Nobody needs to know we came.

  • Inspection and harbourage mapping before treatment
  • Municipality approved products only
  • Unmarked vehicle available on request

Before anything is quoted

We look at the property before we put a number on it

A price list cannot see your marble, your ducts, or the wall the afternoon sun hits. So we come and look. A senior member of the team surveys the property, and you receive a written quotation the same day, itemised, with what is included and what is not.

No obligation. If we are not the right company for the job we will say so, and tell you who is.

  1. 01
    The survey

We look at the property, not a price list. Usually the same day you ask.

  2. 02
    The written quote

Fixed, itemised, and sent the same day. What is included, and what is not.

  3. 03
    The work

A named supervisor and a crew you will see again. Our own equipment and materials.

  4. 04
    The walkthrough

We walk the property with you before the team leaves. Anything not right is dealt with then.

About this service

What is termite control and what does it include?

Termites do not damage a property quickly. They damage it invisibly, which is worse.

Subterranean termites move through soil and up into structure through mud tubes, and they work inside timber rather than on the surface of it. That means a skirting board or a door frame can be structurally gone while still looking painted and intact, and the first real sign is often a frame that gives slightly under pressure, or a small pile of what looks like sand. In Dubai they are drawn to the same things everywhere else: moisture near the foundation, timber in contact with soil, and irrigation running against a wall.

Treatment depends on what we find. An established colony reaching the structure needs a continuous chemical barrier in the soil around the perimeter, applied by trenching and rodding so there are no gaps for them to route around, and direct injection into affected timber and into the voids and wall cavities they are travelling through. New build or a slab being poured is a different job entirely and a much cheaper one: pre construction soil treatment applied before the slab goes down, which is the only opportunity to protect the whole footprint properly. We inspect first, tell you which of these you actually need, and say so if the answer is neither.

Signs you need this service

Mud tubes on foundation walls, garden walls or in the garage
Timber that sounds hollow or gives under light pressure
Discarded wings near windows or light fittings
Small piles of frass that look like fine sand or sawdust
Doors or windows sticking with no humidity change
Paint bubbling or rippling on a skirting or frame
Irrigation running directly against the building
You are building, extending or pouring a new slab

What is included

  • Full property inspection, internal and external
  • Colony activity and entry routes identified
  • Continuous soil barrier applied by trenching and rodding
  • Structural injection into affected timber and voids
  • Wall cavity and expansion joint treatment where required
  • Pre construction soil treatment for new slabs
  • Garden, boundary wall and outbuilding treatment where relevant
  • DM approved products applied by licensed technicians
  • Treatment record and written report
  • Follow up inspection scheduled
Good to know. If you are building or extending, pre construction treatment costs a fraction of dealing with it afterwards. It is worth asking before the slab is poured.

Benefits of doing it properly

  • Continuous barrier rather than spot treatment with gaps
  • Structure protected, not just the visible timber
  • Written report you can hand to a buyer or a valuer
  • Licensed technicians and DM approved products
  • Pre construction option that protects the whole footprint
  • Honest answer on whether treatment is actually needed
  • Follow up inspection built into the plan
  • One team if joinery or structural repair is needed afterwards

How the process works

01

Inspection

We survey the property inside and out and look for tubes, activity and the moisture that attracted them.

02

Findings explained

You are told what is there, how far it has gone, and what is genuinely at risk.

03

Written quote

Fixed and itemised, with the treatment method set out and what it does and does not cover.

04

Barrier and injection

Trenching and rodding for a continuous soil barrier, and direct injection where timber is affected.

05

Conditions addressed

We flag the moisture source or the timber to soil contact, because treating without that invites a return.

06

Report and follow up

A written treatment record, and a follow up inspection scheduled rather than left to you to remember.

Frequently asked questions

How much does termite control and treatment cost in Dubai?

There is no fixed rate card. Price follows the size and condition of the property, so a senior member of the team surveys it first and you get a written, itemised quotation the same day. The figure on that quotation is the figure you pay.

Who does termite control and treatment near me in Dubai?

MELLS covers ninety communities across Dubai and works in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah for commercial premises. Message +971 58 656 3001 on WhatsApp with your community and we will confirm availability.

What is the best termite control and treatment company in Dubai?

Judge any company on three things: whether the team is directly employed or subcontracted, whether the quote is fixed in writing before work starts, and whether a supervisor walks the property with you at the end. MELLS does all three as standard.

How quickly can you start termite control and treatment?

Survey usually the same day you ask, quotation the same day, and work scheduled within forty eight hours in most cases. Urgent call outs are handled the same day where the team is free.

Is termite control and treatment safe for children and pets?

Yes. Products are selected for occupied family homes as the default, re entry times are told to you before we leave, and anything stronger is only ever used with your agreement.

How much does pest control cost in Dubai?

It depends on the property size and the treatment needed. General treatment for a villa is quoted after a survey, and an annual contract works out lower per visit.

Is pest control safe with children and pets at home?

We use Dubai Municipality approved products and tell you plainly how long to stay out of each treated area. Where a lower toxicity option exists we use it by default.

Who does pest control near me in Dubai?

MELLS covers Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, residential and commercial, with licensed technicians.

How quickly can pest control come out?

Same day is normal for urgent work such as bed bugs or a wasp nest. We tell you honestly when we can attend rather than promising a slot we cannot hold.

How do I get a quote from MELLS?

Message us on WhatsApp on +971 58 656 3001 or call the same number. A senior member of the team surveys the property and you receive a written itemised quotation the same day.

Which areas of the UAE does MELLS cover?

Ninety communities across Dubai for residential work, and Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah for commercial premises.

How do I know if it is termites and not ants?

Mud tubes are the giveaway, along with discarded wings and timber that sounds hollow. Ants do not build tubes. If you are not sure, send us a photograph and we will tell you.

Is spot treatment enough?

Rarely. Subterranean termites route around a gap in a barrier, so a partial treatment tends to move the problem rather than end it. A continuous barrier is the point of the method.

What is pre-construction treatment?

Soil treatment applied before a slab is poured, which protects the entire footprint of the building. It is far cheaper than treating afterwards and it is the only chance to do it completely.

Is the treatment safe around family and pets?

The products are DM approved and applied by licensed technicians to soil and structural voids rather than living surfaces. We tell you plainly which areas to keep clear and for how long.

Will I get documentation?

Yes. A written report and treatment record, which is what buyers, valuers and landlords ask for.

Ready to book termite control?

Quick response, trained technicians, and a price agreed before we start.
