Marble dulls because millions of microscopic scratches scatter light instead of reflecting it. The stone is unchanged a fraction of a millimetre down, which is exactly why restoration works and why it is so satisfying to watch. The process removes that damaged top layer entirely and rebuilds the finish through progressively finer diamond abrasives, until the surface is flat enough at a microscopic level to return a true reflection. Crystallisation then hardens the surface chemically, making the finish both brighter and considerably more resistant to the sand and traffic that dulled it before.

We grind out scratches, etch marks, stains and lippage between tiles, hone the floor to a uniform level, then polish through multiple abrasive stages before crystallising and sealing. Work is done wet with slurry contained and extracted, so your home does not fill with stone dust. Skirting, joinery and adjacent surfaces are masked and protected. You get a test patch first, so you see the actual result on your actual floor before agreeing to the whole area.
